Cancellation Policy

Sessions are block-booked as a course due to the principles of Forest School where skills are developed over time and cannot be part or fully refunded if you are unable to attend your sessions. Whilst we aim to be as fair and as reasonable as possible, due to demand, small group numbers and sessions being booked to capacity, we will be unable to transfer you to another session (unless a space has come available) or be able to offer a refund if you are unable to attend for any reason such as (yet not limited to) illness. If a session is cancelled by myself due to e.g. illness a replacement session on an alternative date will be offered or a refund may be given. If a session is cancelled due to bad weather (natural causes) the session will be cancelled and where possible participants will usually be offered a replacement/alternative session, unfortunately no refunds can be offered due to bad weather. Special Events-we will still go ahead with an event in most weathers such as rain. If we do have to cancel due to adverse weather conditions such as high winds, thunder storms, an alternative date will be set that the majority of participants can attend. If this is not suitable a refund may be offered. No refunds will be given after a block booking is made if it is decided that you/your child does not enjoy the sessions. This is the purpose of the taster sessions which are available at the start of each term. Sessions will go ahead in all weathers. Only if the weather is extremely wet, windy or thunderstorms will sessions be cancelled due to weather. Parents are fully responsible for their own children at all times. Ratio of 2 children to 1 adult (unfortunately unable to accommodate larger groups/numbers at this time) Please ensure allergies and allergens are declared on consent booking. It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that their child does not eat anything provided that they may be allergic to. Sessions need a maximum of 5 attendees to go ahead. If a group is due to be low in numbers I will contact you direct about other sessions or offer a refund.
